So Small

The fire laps at my feet. I push back into the chair and tilt my head skyward. I feel so very small, in this tiny spot, gazing into the endless expanse of Gods glory. How smug are we to think that we have it all figured out; and yet not even scratched the surface of what was, is and will be.

"Here is where the land slips out under, where ocean meets sky and inky darkness swallows. The surf pounds sand into submission, the planets late night exhibition. A star splashed celestial sphere grows in glow, the tide slips out from high to low." - PAS
